Meet our Kaizen Pioneers!!
A big well done to our employees Charles, Kyle, Rich, Dean, Paul, Jake and Connor who all took part in our very first Kaizen event earlier this year!
Kaizen is a Japanese term meaning “change for the better” or “continuous improvement”. The overall idea is to see improvements in productivity as a gradual and methodical process.
Our team spent weeks working together to address areas in the factory that they felt could be adapted to improve efficiency and output – they then implemented their ideas into reality with some great results!
Kaizen has led to many improvements, including our new prepping area, levelled benches and sunken chop saws.
